TO AUTHORIZE THE COUNTY MANAGER TO EXECUTE AN AGREEMENT FOR THE CHIP SEALING OF PORTIONS OF VARIOUS COUNTY ROADS WITH THE LOWEST RESPONSIBLE BIDDER (All States Construction, Inc. dba Gorman Construction) FOR THE CHIP SEALING OF APPROXIMATELY 21 MILES OF COUNTY ROAD.
WHEREAS, bids were received for Chip Sealing of portions of various County Roads, and
WHEREAS, All States Construction, Inc. dba Gorman Construction, 1473 Erie Boulevard, Suite 301, Schenectady, New York 12305, is the lowest responsible bidder for this project, and
WHEREAS, the Sullivan County Division of Public Works has reviewed said bid and recommends that an agreement be executed.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the County Manager be and hereby is authorized to execute an agreement with All States Construction, Inc. dba Gorman Construction, at a total price not to exceed $ 1,488,153.69 plus the fluctuating cost of asphalt as per “Asphalt Price Adjustment” as published by the PGB Index price and in accordance with B-26-03, said contract to be in such form as the County Attorney shall approve.
