RESOLUTION INTRODUCED BY THE MANAGEMENT & BUDGET COMMITTEE AUTHORIZING A STATEMENT OF WORK WITH EPLUS TECHNOLOGY, INC. FOR MICROSOFT OFFICE 365 EMAIL MIGRATION SERVICES
WHEREAS, the County of Sullivan currently operates an on-premises Microsoft Exchange environment supporting County email and related messaging services; and
WHEREAS, the Division of Information Technology Services has determined that migration of the County’s email environment to Microsoft Office 365 is appropriate to modernize the County’s messaging infrastructure and support its ongoing operational and security requirements; and
WHEREAS, ePlus Technology, Inc. has long supported our email environment and provided Statement of Work #Sullivan County-O365 Migration Project-179058 to provide engineering and project management services for the design and implementation of the County’s transition to Microsoft Office 365, including assessment and remediation of the existing environment, configuration of the Office 365 tenant and hybrid Exchange environment, pilot mailbox migrations, mail flow configuration, legacy tenant decommissioning, and related project closeout activities; and
WHEREAS, the Statement of Work provides for services on a time and materials basis at GSA Contract pricing, with an estimated fee of $27,955.00, consisting of project management services at $173.45 per hour and engineering services at $230.99 per hour; and
WHEREAS, the Division of Information Technology Services recommends proceeding with the proposed migration services in accordance with the Statement of Work.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the County Manager is hereby authorized to execute Statement of Work #Sullivan County-O365 Migration Project-179058 with ePlus Technology, Inc. for Microsoft Office 365 migration services, at an estimated cost not to exceed $27,955.00; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that said agreement shall be in such form as the County Attorney shall approve.
