RESOLUTION INTRODUCED BY PUBLIC SAFETY AND LAW ENFORCEMENT COMMITTEE AUTHORIZING AGREEMENTS WITH PARTNERS IN SAFETY AND MEDICINE, PLLC FOR THE PRE-EMPLOYMENT SCREENING SERVICES FOR THE SULLIVAN COUNTY 911 CENTER
WHEREAS, the Sullivan County 911 Center is responsible for maintaining qualified personnel to provide emergency communications and public safety services; and
WHEREAS, Sullivan County seeks to ensure that applicants for public safety positions undergo appropriate pre-employment screening in accordance with applicable requirements and standards; and
WHEREAS, Partners in Safety and Medicine, PLLC, doing business as Partners in Safety, has submitted a price proposal to provide audiometry testing and a 4-panel non-DOT pre-employment drug screening services for Sullivan County 911 Center; and
WHEREAS, the proposed fee from partners in safety and Medicine, PLLC, is $42.00 per audiometry test and $55.00 per 4 panel non-DOT pre-employment drug screening; and
WHEREAS, Sullivan County 911 desires to enter into an agreement with Partners in Safety and Medicine, PLLC to provide these services for applicants for positions with Sullivan County 911 Center; now, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED, that the Sullivan County Legislature hereby authorizes the County Manager to execute an agreement with Partners in Safety and Medicine, PLLC for the provision of pre-employment screening services at the following rates:
$42.00 per audiometry test.
$55.00 per 4 panel non-DOT pre-employment drug screening test.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the agreement shall be approved to form by the County Attorney’s Office; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the County Manager is hereby authorized to execute any additional documents necessary to effectuate the purpose of this Resolution
