To allow the Dept of Community Services to submit for a grant through the NYS OMH/.

Grants Gateway.

 

WHEREAS, the Department of Community Services has received an RFP (Request for Proposal) from the New York State Office of Mental Health (NYSOMH) for Safe Options Support (SOS) Program: CTI (Critical Time Intervention); and

 

WHEREAS, Community Services would like to apply for the grant which is due back to NYSOMH/Grants Gateway by September 11, 2023; and

 

WHEREAS, there are no matching requirements to the grant the County must commit to; and

 

WHEREAS, the County Manager, Chairman of the County Legislature (and/or their authorized designees) would need to sign the proposal submitted by the Department of Community Services; and

 

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Sullivan County Legislature hereby authorizes the County Manager, Chairman of the County Legislature, and/or their authorized representative (as required by the funding source) to execute any and all necessary documents to submit the New York State Office of Mental Health proposal/application for funding; and

 

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Sullivan County Legislature hereby authorizes the County Manager, and/or Chairman of the County Legislature (as required by the funding source) to accept the award, and enter into an award agreement or contract to administer the funding secured, in such form as the County Attorney shall approve; and

 

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that should the Safe Options Support (SOS) Program: CTI (Critical Time Intervention) Team funding be terminated, the County shall not be obligated to continue any action undertaken by the use of this funding.
